Pit Track Conservation

NUMBI, KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, SOUTH AFRICA: Members of an anti-poaching unit patrol sections of the park during daily operations aimed at protecting wildlife and monitoring human activity along the park’s boundaries. Rangers patrol from sunrise to sunset, checking fence lines, tracking signs of movement, and responding to potential threats within one of Africa’s largest protected areas.

Photographed during two visits in both summer and winter, this series documents the routine work of rangers operating in the field and the long hours required to safeguard wildlife across the park’s southern boarder.
